this was a busy weekend for us, so we got a zipcar on saturday and ran several errands. one major item we got was the maple veneer plywood for the crib. because it was so hot this weekend, lee didn't get a chance to make any cuts until late sunday night, but we were able to borrow a few essential tools from our neighbor and so the cutting began around 7:45 or so...
do not attempt this at home!
i helped out a bit as well with some measurements and steadying of the plywood while it was being cut, but mostly i just tried to stay out of the way and keep the motion detecting light on so that lee could see what he was doing!

the 'beach' looked awesome too. wish i was playing with you guys!
I still think it's so cool that lee is making the crib. And I'm glad I'll be close enough to see it first hand when it's finished.
