"beach day"

one of the things we miss the most about California is our beach weekends. almost every weekend from probably may through november, we spent at least a couple hours at the beach playing football, people watching and of course, sunbathing! this weekend there were "dragon boat races" on the Charles, which essentially means a very long canoe with a dragon head attached with teams racing for all of about 50 feet. at least that's what it seemed like, because we only saw three boats with people in them but were there for about two hours! here we are shade/sunbathing in the 90degree, 90% humidity weather..
